Multiple entries
There is no limit on the number of entries each company may submit in both Best in Biz Awards programs. Each award category is judged separately by a different subset of judges and garners a different pool of award entries, some attracting 10 times more entries than others. Entries submitted in multiple categories are eligible to win multiple awards.
The easiest way to submit multiple entries is to submit the same entry in multiple award categories – often it is not necessary to create an entirely new submission; the same entry may be perfectly applicable to multiple categories with minimal to no tweaks. To highlight different business achievements, companies may also choose to submit different entries across various categories, refreshing their submissions to tailor them for the additional categories, using the various Tips included throughout the category descriptions.
BIBA’s Most Awarded
Since 2015, Best in Biz Awards has highlighted the top 5 companies receiving honors in the highest number of award categories, based on the weighted combined total of gold, silver and bronze awards. Last year, the prestigious Most Awarded list included Innovation Refunds, Sotheby’s International Realty, Wolters Kluwer, Applied Systems, ModMed, Moody’s Corporation and U-Haul International. If you are considering a few different categories in our business awards, don’t hesitate to enter more to increase your chances of becoming one of this year’s most awarded companies.
Quantity discount
Companies submitting 10 or more award entries in any one of our business awards are eligible for a 10% discount on their submission fee total.
Methods of Payment
American Express, Mastercard, Visa, and Paypal are accepted methods of payment in the online business award entry system. If payment by bank transfer is preferred, please choose ‘Invoice’ as payment method and the system will generate an invoice automatically.
With the exception of silver, bronze or duplicate award trophies, there are no additional fees for any of the benefits in Best in Biz Awards, including but not limited to website placement, winners’ logos, judges’ quotes and gold award trophies.

What regions is Best in Biz Awards conferred in?Best in Biz Awards is conferred in two annual business awards programs: North America and International. The North American business awards program runs from May until September, and the International program runs from January until April. This includes companies whose headquarters are outside North America but which have offices or otherwise conduct business in the region. How do I create an award-winning business awards entry? The shortest recommendation is: bullet points – stats – testimonials. For a slightly longer explanation: 1) use bullet points in your business award entry for the best judges’ experience, 2) quote data, numbers or statistics whenever available, 3) short case studies or quotes from your users, customers and/or employees can take your entry to the next level, 4) more does not always equal better – focus on the quality of your award entries or supporting links instead of the word count or quantity. Multiple entries |
04 |
Can I submit entries in multiple business award categories?Yes. You may submit entries in as many award categories as you and your company see fit. Every category garners a different pool of entries, some attracting 10 times more submissions than others, and every category is judged by a different subset of judges. The easiest way to maximize your chances of winning is to enter multiple business award categories. You may not even have to create a completely new submission. The same entry may be relevant to multiple categories with minimal to no tweaks. Of course, feel free to completely rewrite your submission as appropriate to adjust it for the additional content you wish to highlight or categories you want to enter. Can I submit entries in both business award programs?Yes, of course! You can submit any number of entries to any of the categories in both Best in Biz Awards programs – North America and International. Winning e.g. Best in Biz Awards (North America) does not preclude a company from entering and potentially winning Best in Biz Awards International, in the same or different award categories. Companies may also reuse their existing Best in Biz Awards entries in our new Greener Awards and Champions in AI programs. |

Business award deadlines and fees |
07 |
Is there any difference between the three deadlines? The only difference between the three business awards deadlines – early, regular and late – is the entry fee price. Entry fees get progressively more expensive (by $50), because the later deadlines offer entrants additional time to craft and fine tune their submissions and also because the judging panel is unveiled during the later award submission periods (with returning judges announced during the regular entry period and the full judging panel revealed during the late entry period). Of course, all entries are judged identically, regardless of when they are submitted. |
Business awards judging |
08 |
How is Best in Biz Awards different from other business awards programs?Best in Biz Awards is the only independent business awards program judged each year by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications, from North America and around the world – regular business professionals have never served on our judging panels, since 2011. From Associated Press to Yahoo Tech’s David Pogue – and including Businessweek, CNET, Consumer Affairs, Fast Company, Financial Times, Inc., Forbes, Fortune, Network World, PC Magazine, Reuters, San Francisco Chronicle, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Wired and more – Best in Biz Awards each year assembles a judging panel composed of a who’s who of prominent reporters and editors from the most respected publications. |
| 09 |
Why are only members of the press judging this business awards competition?Best in Biz Awards’ uniqueness stems, in part, from the composition of its judging panels. Among the many business awards programs judged by regular, mid-level business professionals, Best in Biz Awards stands as the only one judged only by top-tier press, from a variety of top publications. Each year, only editors, writers and contributors to business, consumer, financial, trade and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets, are invited to serve as judges. Structured this way, Best in Biz Awards can best leverage the expertise, experience and objectivity of its influential judges to determine award winners. Having written about numerous both successful and failed companies, we believe these judges are best equipped to objectively evaluate the business awards entry pool and choose the very best from among the entries. |
