EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Chief executive officers (CEO), chief operating officers (COO) and presidents from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible. Similar to the 2012 awards program, winners in this category will be selected in each of the three company-size subcategories:
a. Executive of the Year – Small (1-99 employees)
b. Executive of the Year – Medium (101-999 employees)
c. Executive of the Year – Large (1000 and more employees).

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in business development functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible.

CREATIVE EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in creative functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible. This includes heads of in-house arts, design or graphics departments, as well as advertising, creative or digital marketing agency executives.

FINANCE EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in finance functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible. This includes executives such as CFO, controller, etc.

HR EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in HR functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible. This includes both VP- and director-level human resources professionals.

LEGAL EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in legal functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible. This includes in-house executives such as chief legal officer, general counsel or associate counsel, as well as law firm executives such as partner or counsel.

MARKETING EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in marketing functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible. This includes executives such as CMO, VP of marketing, as well as advertising and marketing agency executives.

PR EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in corporate communications or public relations functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada and company sizes are eligible. This includes executives such as CCO, VP of PR or corporate communications, as well as communications and public relations agency executives.

SALES EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in sales functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible. This includes channel, direct, online and retail sales.

SUPPORT EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in support functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible. This includes both VP- and director-level customer care, customer support and tech support professionals.

TECHNOLOGY EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Executives in technology functions from all industries, regions in the U.S. or Canada, and company sizes are eligible. This includes executives such as VP of engineering or VP of IT.

ENTREPRENEUR / FOUNDER OF THE YEAR

New for 2013 awards

All entrepreneurs and company founders from all industries and regions in the U.S. or Canada, who have created a new business since January 1, 2012 are eligible.

CHAIRMAN OF THE YEAR

New for 2013 awards

Chairmen or chairwomen of all boards of publically owned companies from all industries and regions in the U.S. or Canada are eligible.
